Since April 2016, I’ve been writing weekly Compassion Posts. That was the first in a series of professional shifts that brought me to the present state of this blog, and my work as a whole.
At some point I recognized how I had changed and how I wanted to help people (I talk about my main motivations in this post here). I wanted other people to have the same experience. I wanted other people to feel as good as I feel in life. I also wanted to make it as easy as possible for others to follow that life-changing process.
There are many aspects to wellness and self-work, and there are probably ten times the number of coaches and teachers focusing on each one.
So why would you spend time with me? Why follow my teachings? Why work on yourself in this particular way and build a life based in unconditional love? What’s in it for you?
Total wellness. I mean this – physical, relational, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness all increases as a result of love. All aspects of your life WILL improve when you practice these things on a consistent basis.
Specifically, you’ll feel happier. This doesn’t mean you won’t have negative emotions – that’s part of life. Instead what will happen is you’ll be able to acknowledge them and accept the opportunities they present to you, as well as having a generally positive perspective on life.
You’ll also experience more joy. You’ll learn to be in the present and live life in a way that honors who you are, and focuses on the good stuff of now.
Freedom will be yours. You’ll be able to let go of emotional baggage from the past and worry about the future in order to be fully present.
You’ll experience a deep sense of peace grounded in a solid understanding of worthiness and acceptance.
No one else is doing it like I am – that’s because most teachers focus solely on loving the self (which is absolutely important) and so they miss a major piece of what it means to be human and live a fulfilling life. It’s not enough to love yourself. It’s not enough to love other people – you need both to be a well-rounded and balanced person.
This is how you experience love, peace, and total wellness every day of your life.
There are two ways to get there – you can cobble things together and stumble around struggling for years, or you can get step-by-step instructions for how to implement these changes now.
